Was a characterful base for trip. Everything was wonderful and lots to do. We ate at a magnificent restaurant with great food. The unit had a good-sized bathroom and large bedroom. Amazingly nice and amiable staff who were always there to help.

The attentive and highly courteous staff made it a pleasurable place to stay. Amazing and beautiful location - only a short distance to everywhere we needed.

The hotel had a remote position just next door to Serra da Estrela summit, the beautiful local village "Manteigas ", and the Serra mountain.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel - it met what was needed. It was clean, staff was really kind and very good! Nice service, although a few employees were non cooperative. The location was super in the lovely area. Also, Lago do Viriato was 2 km away.

Family room was brand-new and modern with a big bed. The location was stunning and amazing for us - walking distance to restaurants and canteens. Besides, it was just next door to Penhas da Saude downtown.

Stunning and awesome location, very close to Serra da Estrela summit. Adjacent to the beautiful local village `` Manteigas '', hiking Serra da Estrela, and the mountain "Torre ".

The hotel has a remote location close to the nature. The staff are extremely friendly and provide an excellent service.

The room is good, comes with otherwise paid, a nice view, as example. The breakfast has delicious and good options with a scenic view of the mountain sunrise and fresh squeezed orange juice, as example...

The stunning mountain views, highest in Portugal, made for a beautiful location for skiing. Friendly staff and lovely decor throughout the property. Great facilities for children, both indoors and outdoors. Delicious breakfast and ample parking available. Nearby restaurant, Varanda da Estrela, served a tasty wild boar dish. 🏔️🎿👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🥐🅿️🍽️

The location turned out to be great, adjacent to the ski area as well as the mountains of Portugal. There was a rustic restaurant nearby.

We liked the location and views plus the general interior design of hotel especially the Medieval Restaurant and seating areas near bar.

Thought bedroom/bathroom were in need of some refurbishment in places. Our air conditioning only blew warm air. No cold water came out of taps in bathroom only warm water. Part of the shower system was missing so it was a bath or nothing. We realise we were there in the summer season hence the hotel was very quiet but at check out they were most off hand couldnt be bothered to say thank you or have a good onward journey etc. However staff in restaurant were most friendly.

The only thing we appreciated was the people at breakfast in the room, the design was good, but not enough.

I went with my family and we were very unliked with the service. We arrived in a rainning day, and no one come to help us with our bags from the reception... The room was big, and lovely, but no confortable. We had breakfast in beddroom, and the only table on the it wasn't enough for 3 of us, and has only one chair...For a 4 stars hotel was really bed!
